Allen and Tracy were a blast!  They were up for anything as well as their wedding party.  Tracy was full of smiles all day and such a wonderful host.  Allen, as you can see, is completely in love with his new bride and willing to do anything for the shot.  I like that.

The day started out with sunshine and snow on the ground.  As the evening progressed, it turned into a Winter wonderland and for me, it was a dream come true.  As a photographer you hope for the weather to hold for the day.  This time it held and then gave me the snowfall I was hoping for to capture the pics that Tracy was really hoping to get.  The ceremony was intimate and full of tender moments from building the Cairn with family to the touching vows.

After the ceremony we were able to sit down with guests and talk making new friends.  This crowd was so welcoming we were blown away.  The bride’s request was kept by all guests for a completely unplugged wedding.  Why do that?  It gets us all to put away devises that draw our attention and helps us focus on the moment.  I was fortunate enough to be the photographer chosen to capture their day for all of their guests.  Such an honor to be trusted to record this special moment in time for the newly wed couple.

We are a husband and wife photography team based in Colorado Springs, CO and travel worldwide to capture these special moments.  We travel throughout the Colorado mountains without charging travel fees because we love what we do and love to be in the mountains.  Win Win!  If you are planning your wedding, remember that there are more important things than the cost or the quality of imagery.  Those are important, but you also need to have a good relationship with your wedding photographer.  They will be with you the whole day and can either be intrusive, or blend in with the crowd.  That’s what we do.  We are a part of your day rather than being a distraction.
