What a beautiful way to spend the first day of Spring!  At the Crystal Reservoir up Pikes Peak capturing a surprise proposal!  Fresh snow, blue skies, warm air, and of course, an excited groom to be after hearing the words yes, yes, yes from his new fiance!  Andrew is in the Air Force currently serving in New Mexico but came up to Colorado for what Faith thought was just a fun getaway.  Instead, Andrew spent alot of time getting both sets of their parents to travel to Colorado and booked me to capture this big surprise.  Although it was to early in the Spring to go all the way up to the top, Andrew chose the perfect spot to ask Faith to marry him.  Once that was over, it was time for the second surprise.  The parents announced their presence through snowballs thrown at them as they walked back to the parking area.  Faith was so surprised and cried with joy as we watched in happiness.

 

What a fun and special day.  We were so blessed to get the chance to capture this special moment for this young couple and can honestly say we have the best job in the world!  Congrats to Andrew and Faith, newly engaged!
