Colorado Wedding Photography Ralston’s Crossing ~ What a beautiful venue!  Put together by a wedding photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to capture this couple’s wedding.  Andrew and Randi are special people.  I remember when we photographed their engagement session last year, we went to dinner with them after and just enjoyed visiting and getting to know each other.  That’s the kind of couple they are.  Open and inviting to all that want to get to know them.

Well, it made the day that much more special to us because we felt like we were watching a few of our friends getting married.  Randi made special gifts for her parents as well as others in her close group of family and friends.  It was touching watching her dad and mom tear up as they read the special words on their handkerchiefs she made.  Randi’s special vintage details was right up our alley, especially Sarah’s.  Andrew and Randi took a few minutes before the wedding to give each other notes and visit without seeing each other.  No, that’s not just a fun photo op, it was a truly needed moment they needed to comfort each other and feel each other’s presence.  As Randi’s father gave his precious daughter away, he not only gave her hand, but gave him the keys.  I thought it was very special and a fun way to show that he is handing her over to a responsible man.

Once we were at the reception, everyone enjoyed visiting, eating, and dancing.  The moment of the evening was when the bride danced with her Grandpa, there was not a dry eye, including me.  I think this should be a more popular event at wedding receptions for sure.  Even though it rained as the dancing was taking place, the whole group enjoyed partying and as the sun popped out, it was time to say goodnight.  Sarah and I feel truly blessed to have been a part of this beautiful wedding with beautiful people!
